It was a spectacular comeback for India as they beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the 2nd T20I. India vs Bangladesh 2nd T20I match 2019 witnessed a rain of boundaries by openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma.
Both the Indian openers managed a quick-fire start for India while chasing the 154-run target.

Rohit Sharma (85) smashed a half-century in the match, his 22nd in T20Is. Sharma smashed 6 sixes and 6 fours to give a hiccup to Bangladesh at the start of the second innings itself.

Both the Indian openers did most of the work for the team while chasing the 154-run-target. Later, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer managed the Indian batting well to take India par to victory.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. Bangladesh openers Liton Das and Mohammad Naim made a great start with a partnership of 60 runs. Das and Naim both hit 29 and 36 runs respectively.
However, the other batsmen could not keep up the momentum, taking the scoreboard to only 153-6 in 20 overs. Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah smashed 30 runs each while others batsmen could only score in single digits.
With the outstanding victory, the three-match T20I series is levelled at 1-1 now. The third and the last T20I match will be played on November 10.
